THE INTERVALE FILMS
I did the stills for two films, "The Old Intervale" and "The New Intervale." The first traces the history of a vast piece of land bordering the Onion River in Winooski and Burlington Vermont. Home to the first settlers, the Abenaki, and later to European decended farmers, the Intervale is an incredibly fertile area. "The New Intervale" follows the story from 1980 to 2004, during which time it has become a groundbreaking community resource, with the store Gardener's Supply, public garden plots, a compost factory, and local commercial organic farmers all working together with a vision of sustainable local agriculture, all within a five minute drive from downtown Burlington.
The films, directed by Ken Peck and produced by Will Rapp, will be available on dvd soon.

PBS INTERVIEW
While I was mounting my show "FAKE! Paintings by Liza Picasso, Liza Leger, Liza Matisse etc." I was contacted by Paul Larsen, producer of the monthly arts magazine, "Art Express" on Mountain Lake PBS, Plattsburgh NY. Paul and his assistant spent a day in my studio filming me talking, taking photographs and painting. This seven minute segment, called "Fakin' It" aired in January 2005. You can now see it streamed on this website. Click the link below, or go to "Media" from the homepage.
